Have you ever thought about changing something in your life, or making your life better than it currently is - but then it got all too hard and overwhelming all at once?
Your wildly important goal is so massively epic that you decided that whatever you wanted, just wasn't for you?
Maybe you put it in the "later, when I have enough time or money" pile?
A career pivot.
Saving for a new car.
Moving to a different city.
Having two months off work to travel.
Starting a biz.
Getting a promotion.
Taking up a new hobby.
The new or different anything!
Yup, been there! In fact, that list ^^ is my life.
So I know it's not easy to make HUGE changes in your life like these ones. Each requires you to step into a new version of you and to step outside of your comfort zone.
To start something new, to add something new into your life, to change your routine or living circumstances, to level up your career. All can tough in their own ways.
As humans we CRAVE routine and repetition. Until we don't, and it's time to level up and evolve. Time to REALIGN ourselves with a newer, upgraded version of ourselves.
So rather than a drastic change, it's easier to take small steps and make micro changes EACH DAY to realign yourself with who you want to be and where you're headed.
We can shake things up, create progress and momentum, then move ourselves towards a new normal, a new routine at our new upgraded level.β
Think about it this way:
π What kind of person do you want to be?β
π If you were this kind of person, what would you be doing?
π If you did those things, what would your life be like?
The list of changes above are results. They're outcomes that people want, like many of my clients. And me too.
βThe thing is, it's great to have your outcome in mind, a vision / goals are fabulous. But when you lay your outcome out in front of you right now, it's going to seem OVERWHELMING.
What to do next? How do I achieve this? It's so farfetched, how do I get there? Ok, too hard, goodbye to that goal/vision....and you never really got started.
βI hear you. I know the overwhelm about the next step all too well. However when I was asked "if not now, when?" I knew that I could no longer hold myself back from taking action.
And that's why I'm asking you to consider FLIPPIN' THE SCRIPT ON GOALS by starting with the three questions in this blog, here they are again + actions:

Start small.
Start by being the kind of person you want to be.
